Where Your Story Begins to Change
Hi, I’m Lara. I’m a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor with a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lebanon Valley College.
Feeling nervous and on edge, or maybe down and disconnected from relationships or things you used to enjoy? You may be navigating a tough transition, feeling pressure to keep it all together, or just not feeling like yourself lately.
You're not alone—and you don't have to figure it out by yourself.
I help adolescents and adults who are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, or down by sharing a space to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with yourself and who and what matters most. We'll explore what's holding you back and work toward helping you feel more present and flexible in how you move forward with your story.
Using evidence-based approaches, including CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), I help clients develop effective coping strategies, increase emotional awareness, and foster psychological flexibility to improve overall well-being. I treat a variety of issues such as:
• Anxiety and stress
• Depression and mood challenges
• Identity and self-esteem
• Life transitions (school, career, relationships)
• Family and interpersonal dynamics
• Nonsuicidal self-injury
My goal is to empower clients by helping them manage emotions, challenge unhelpful thought patterns, and build resilience for lasting change. I intentionally maintain a small caseload to provide individualized attention and ensure sessions are tailored to your unique needs and treatment goals.

Out-of-Network Benefits
While I am out-of-network with most insurances, you may be able to use your insurance for services. Some insurances provides out-of-network benefits. This means you submit a request to your insurance provider for all or partial reimbursement. In this case, you will pay the session fee at the time of service, and I will provide you with a receipt that you submit to your provider. Please check with your insurance provider first to determine of out-of-network benefits are available to you.
